Franka Batelić also known as Franka is a Pop / Rock singer from Croatia. Here I captured her at the Rise Up Porec  music festival in Croatia in the summer of 2018

About the shot

Although I had a photo pass there was a mix up with gaining pit access. I had to shoot the festival from the crowd side. The center circle was packed so I made my way to left of center and worked myself to the barrier. A very uncomfortable night followed with a young pop crowd constantly pushing and shoving. Despite the elbows in my ribs and the constant pressure to gain my vantage point I managed to get some good shots. Several of these images from the concert  have been shared and used on social media by Franka Batelić .
