Description

Gay-Yee Westerhoff is a cellist with the classical crossover & all female string quartet Bond. The group consists of Tania Davis, Eos Counsell, Elspeth Hanson, and Gay-Yee Westerhoff . I captured them here at Rocks & Stars Festival , Medulin Riviera in Croatia in the summer of 2018

About the shot

A very evocative, inspiring and colourful capture of the cellist Gay-Yee Westerhoff . There are some good close ups and “hair shots” of all the band on the slideshow. There was no photo pit area , but I could get very close to the stage. I photographed from the corners of the stage and the side of the crowds. For this shot I was kneeling on the floor of the first row.
