Description

The Slackers are an American 6 piece Ska / Reggae / Dub / Jazz group. The band members include Glen Pine, Vic Ruggiero, Dave Hillyard, Ara Babajian, Marcus Geard and Jay Nugent. I captured them here at Klub Kotač in Pula , Croatia on 08.11.2018

About the shot

The stage is only slightly elevated at the club and lighting is difficult. I photographed from the crowd and also by climbing on top of the speakers or chairs which then gave me access to window sills. For this shot I was standing directly in front and when the trombone was full extended it stopped short of my lens by about 2 cm.
