Nina Kraviz is an Electronic music , Techno , DJ from Russia. Here I captured her at the Dimensions Festival in Pula, Croatia on 29.08.2019

About the shot

I had a photo pass for the entire festival but with limitations on stage access. At the main festival Nina was the artist that I wanted to photograph, the down side of E.D.M concert photography is that they perform so late. This shot was taken at about 3 o’clock in the morning. I took a few of her from the stage but there are so many restrictions, all you could really get was a picture of the back of her head with the crowd in the background. I took this from the pit area. The lighting was awful and I had to up my ISO to 3,200 to stand a chance and shot at F4.9 to get the desired effect with the smoke.
