Maksim Mrvica is a Classical Crossover Pianist from Croatia. Here I captured him performing at the Rocks & Stars festival in Croatia on 29.06.18

About the shot

The concert was held in a disused quarry near Pula which has great acoustics and is always well lit. There was no pit area and I shot from the crowd. For the first three tracks I was able to walk around and also get close to the stage but after that there were strict instructions. For this shot I was sitting on the floor at the center of the first row. There are several good colour shots of him in the slideshow but I prefer this black and white capture.
