Description

Kraftwerk are an Electronic / Synth-pop group from Germany. Performing band members included Ralf Hütter, Fritz Hilpert, Henning Schmitz and Falk Grieffenhagen . I captured them here at Dimensions Festival in Pula, Croatia on 29.08.2018

About the shot

They were a very tricky band to photograph. Although I had a photo pass the band didn’t want any photogs in the pit which was going to be difficult with such a big crowd. But I managed to work my way to the front of the packed arena and get some close up pictures ,which you can see in the slideshow, and then found a good elevated place to shoot the rest of the 3D concert. There are several iconic shots of the band but I chose this one to print. It shows all four band members with a space ship descending onto Pula Arena, an image that would only ever be seen at this concert.
