John Newman is a British Pop & Soul singer / songwriter. Here I captured him at The Rise Up Porec Festival in Croatia on 09.05.17

About the shot

There are some great images in the slideshow to choose from but this black and white is one of my favourites. I captured it from the photo pit which for this festival was extremely difficult and dangerous as they had fire jets at the front of the stage. Timing was crucial for all the shots. I had to be crouched down and huddled up inside the crowd barriers to protect myself and my camera.
