Description
Dayglo Abortions are Hardcore Punk group formed in 1979 from Canada. Band members include “The Cretin” Murray Acton , “Willy Jak” and Blarc. Joining the band on stage for the concert was Charlie on guitar from the Canadian Punk band The Golers ( Inbred Militia ). I captured them here at the Monteparadiso Hardcore Punk Festival in Pula , Croatia 2018
About the shot
There was so much energy with this band and I soon found myself at the front leaning on the speakers. From just to the side of the mosh pit I got some close ups and some great ” jump shots”. But for this black and white capture of Murray Acton I found my elevated vantage point and waited and watched the light.
